Contest Rules & Regulations

There is an entry fee of $10.00 per person, per contest entry. 

Any individual may enter any contest providing the tattoo fits into the category chosen.

Contest registration forms will be distributed at the ticket counter prior to competitions.

Upon registering: contestants will be given an entry card to complete with their name and 
category. Contestants must have said entry card in order to be judged. 

No individual may enter more than two contests, with the exception of Best of Show.

Each contest is limited to twenty contestants.
 
Be present 15 minutes prior to competing.

Tattoo of the Day MUST have been completed at the expo on the day of the contest.

There will be no refunds for registrants who do not attend 
the contest (times to be announced at the Festival). 

Finalists and winners will be announced during each day's Awards Ceremony
on the Tattoo Contest Stage. 

Tattoo Of The Day: You must have your
tattoo done by an attending Massachusetts Tattoo & Art Festival Tattoo Artist, 
that day of the festival.

Best Tattoo Of The Day tattoos must be properly cleaned up and
presentable (not seeping or bleeding).

Best Cover-up Tattoo:  You must have a before photo to enter contest.

Small Tattoo = 6” or less; Large Tattoo = 6” or more; Back Piece = entire back 

No complete disrobing during judging.  This rule is nonnegotiable and is not up for discussion.
